Oh come on, it was a bloody good save ! A completely different scenario from track day driving, when you might be waiting for a slide every second, but to avoid the barrier, correct the car, stop facing in the right direction, give the guy some credit.

It was a good save (and I would probably st myself in that situation), but you need to overhaul your sarcasm detector.

There will be very little in the way of whoops or high fives over it. wink

That's one name for them.

But then again, I'm awestruck by the sheer amount of driving gods on these forums (not to mention their vast knowledge on car duhnamics)

I'm also awestruck by the number of people who think you have to be an expert to comment! How does criticism somehow infer arrogance? I don't think Gadaffi's a good leader - doesn't make me arrogant for thinking I could run a country! confused

My comment above, by the way, was firmly tongue in cheek!

I'm somewhat confused, can you point me in the direction of any post on this thread that is remotely like that?

I couldn't have saved that. But then, I'm not a large bald headed bloke with a goatee. The goatee, you see, slows down time and naturally helps to stabilise cars which aren't equipped with ESP. wink
