In the process of finishing my dedicated 100% waste veg powered hauling truck...and I have 400 litres of 'fuel' ready and waiting. Might be a bit uncomfortable and drafty but at least it's free motoring? wink

Having learnt to drive in a 1954 Series 1 Landrover with transposed 1.5 Rover 60 engine and Burman Recirculating Ball Steering (AKA WHERE THE F--CK is the steering taking us) to call this a little drafty and uncomfortable is praise indeed.

But well done to you nice restoration job and should be almost free to run. I hope a few more individuals display the same spirit!!

I do realise you have a Diesel here but the early Landrovers were definitely an acquired taste.A VERY acquired taste.

You can get away with that if the engine has the earlier Bosche IP - most of the other IP's are too fragile.

No good for direct Injection/common rail/electronic pump either.
