Pretty much as the title says, rear driver side indicator on the 9-3 has failed, I've changed over the bulb but hasn't rectified the fault.

Has anybody got any ideas what could be causing the fault? The only other thing that I can think of is that it's some kind of wiring/electrical fault?

Do any of the other lights on that side work? Could be an earth issue or a bent pin on the connector block (this happened to me once, only realised after forking out for a load of new bulbs).

If you put the hazards on does the tail light flash on that side?

That will be my next thing to check, I have a feeling it's going to be a grab a colleague so they can watch while I check job

You should be able to do it on your own if need be, just turn the lights on and then stick the hazards on.

Sorry had a complete fit of blond there (it's been a long two days). All other lights on the cluster are working bar the indicator/hazard. Any ideas?

Swap the bulb over fromt he other side. Might be a duff bulb.
Check for a feed to the little tab in the centre of the bulb holder (where the bulb twists into)

Are they out on both sides? Front and rear?

These would be helpful to know. Could be ground or the relay but furter info would help.

If it is a twist in bulb holder look carefully where the pins rest against the track as they burn and a little hole appears causing a bad earth.
