Seeing as fuel prices are through the roof I might as well have fun whilst (literally) burning money.
I'd going to sell my very dull Navara pickup and want something that shifts.

Requirements:
1) Not small (no hatchbacks)
2) Nice interior (sorry Subaru...)
3) Fast. Ideally under 6 seconds 0-60 and less is a bonus.

If I could, I'd buy a Nissan GT-R, but I cant..
BUDGET: Around £20k

I really like Japanese cars but not sure I can live with the hard ride of the Evos and Imprezas, and they are a bit spartan inside. I'm thinking.. Audi S something, BMW M5, Some sort of AMG Merc, Maserati?, Porsche 911...

Well you've listed some good cars...

E46 M3 would probably be my choise.

But could be a Porsche Cayman S, 996 S.

R34 GTR?

Not sure what S5's go for at the moment.

Possibly get an RS4 for a tad over £20k or an older B5 RS4?

3.0 TDI?

Are you absolutely shrooming? The guy wants a GT-R and you suggest a Diesel VAG?

Good tip. The performance is extraordinary for a diesel.

Fair point.

Still though. Diesels recommended on Pistonheads?

Isn't that one of the signs of the apocalypse?

911 everytime! Interior not amazing in terms of design but well equipped and well put together. Decent sized boot in the front (not as much room as in a boxster though).

I like soft tops, but could see a targa working for me here.
