focus st170 to fiesta st

I'm thinking of making the transition from focus to fiesta as I'm finding the focus too thirsty, prob average about 25-27 mpg. Looking at fezza st mpg figures on paper it looks good, mixed mpg somewhere around 38 some reviews say. However, I have seen a few forums and articles that suggest getting that sort of consumption figure in the real world might be a load of pony. I was wondering what sort of mpg figures fezza st owners are getting from mixed driving and how many miles to a tank, which I notice is 10 litres smaller than the focus. Cheers

Surprised at your mpg. If you drive it at pace then I could understand it. I get low to mid 20's on my 2.5 ST on local mixed runs and a sensible cruise of 29 to 30 mpg . I would suspect that if you drive the fiesta the same, you wouldnt do 'much' better, even on a smaller car TBH.
