Boggo exhaust replacement
Discussion
First off, apologies for the slight thread overlap with the other exhaust thread, but I didn't want to take over that one!
My bog standard exhaust is blowing in the pipe after the cat but before the backbox, and I'm not sure about the best way to fix this? I'm not fussed about getting a fancy exhaust; really I'd just like the cheapest way to fix it (unless the difference between getting a fancy one and a non-fancy one is negligable?).
Am I best off just going to a garage and asking them to sort it, or should I try and source an exhaust then take it to the garage to get it fitted? The latter strikes me as a bit of a faff, but thought I'd ask the experts before I do anything

I bought a new back-box & centre-pipe from Euro Car Parts last week, via a garage, I paid £90 ish. You could probably fit it easily enough your self but since the garage was fixing something else I got them to fit the exhaust at the same time.
I paid about £45ish in labour to fit the exhaust, at an indie garage - They were kind enough to replace all the bolts and clamps that had corroded along the rest of the exhaust system too which was a bonus.
Definitely made a huge improvement - I'd resigned myself that the mx5 was always going to be a noisy car but it's now practically eerie to how it was before. Well worth it IMHO, makes the car far more enjoyable day-to-day for me.
