Hi Shep
My discription was not very good sorry but you are right the two trims bits behind the seats.
I have just had both seats and centre console renewed in leather and the match with the other pieces is not quite right, so I have bought a air brush and paint from furniture clinic and I am going to attempt to remove both trims/door cards and the trims around the seat belts and paint them, if I am happy with the work I have done I will try the area around the dash board.
Just had a look this morning and they seem to be glued down but I dont want to pull to hard as yet.

If you mean the plastic trim bits that are on the rear "shelf" they are glued on to the carpet at the seatbelt end and tucked under the rear centre console at the other end. I know this because mine has lifted and distorted a bit over the years, it too needs taking off reshaping and glued back on.............one day
