I just wanna say a very big thankyou to Honestfreddie who uses this forum,for the brilliant job in removing nearly 200 stonechips from the front of my Griff. What a difference, looks like new. Worth every penny. Cheers mate.zz

Had a very similar experience to that myself, didn't I Al

My back's never been the same following the two full days of laying on my back with a stick of touch-up paint! And then there was the car to look at...

Well done HonestFreddie zz reckons you have done a great repair job on his Griff.I think you are going to be VERY busy and when you come to the events/meets don't bother arriving in your Chimaera you will need to be in the works van to cope with a long line of customers

me too. I have a few little areas that need a little attention, but the local chips away changed to something else, and then disapeared completly

do you have any before and after pics zz?? and where abouts is honestfreddy based?? (just off to see if there are clues in his profile....)

edited to add: cornwall.... well.... that's quite a big place.... north or south??

Cant mix Starmist blue , as TVR have not released all there paint codes to Dupont. Still I live in hope.

When I asked Chipsaway for a quote to do the chips on my Chim 450 they said they couln't do it. Guess I'll have to get a re-spray.

Paid just under £200 and well worth it, but the cost does vary considering the amount of work needing to be painted...zz

Would also like to mention that the lower spoiler [just under the number plate] took a big hit from a large stone causing a "chip" about half inch long by quarter inch deep. Honestfreddie's coming back to properly fill and respray it. I'm really pleased about that because "it was too small a job" for the local garage....zz

Sorry guys, should have taken photo's, pre/post job. The side wing and front was pretty bad due to an unfortunate accident, whilst the rest of the front is what you would expect from 22000 miles. British Racing Green colour highlights it even more, but now you would think they were never there...zz
