Has anyone any experience of these cars, my daughter is looking to get one, but before she takes the plunge I want find out what the down side is. She lives in Birmingham and comes to Essex on ave one a month. I think they are too small for Motorway driving as only having a one litre engine.

TIA

It's a micra underneath, so reliable frugal, and funky on the outside.

Sort of - it's a different engine with lower compression and a turbo.

And FWIW, my 1-litre Aygo daily-driver manages well enough when asked to do motorways, anyway. smile

The Figaro's retro styling details must mean it's a b*gg*r to sort out typical parking scrapes.

one of my collegues had one for a year, as said above, its basically retro look body on micra running gear.

only made for 2 years too (91-92 i think). i think they were all automatics too. the woman i know loved it while it worked, but the roof always leaks, the leather seats were a bit cheap and they are expensive to buy considering their age and power. there is an owners club, get on the board there and i'm sure they will enlighten you further.

Rust rust and more rust. Other than that, keep an eye out for rust.
