For a friend,

All manufacturers. Had M3/RS4 already. Big petrol head, only himself. A summer car, will get rid in Septemberish.

An 'out there' car preferable.

No real budget, say £50K unless it's a really good 'n.

Thanks in advance biggrin

C63 is up there. Slightly bending the rules, anyone have any experience of a GT-R?

On their own, loaded and for summer - so why a saloon and not a sports car?

Either way, how about:

Jag XJ
Jag XFR
Charger SRT-8 6.1
Caddy CTS-V
Brabus of some kind
Panamera
Lagonda and some play money to make it go like it looks
Bristol Blenheim

For "out there" options you need to go classic:

So classic Ferrari perhaps or maybe a Jensen, Facel Vega or many others.

Or more sensibly a 575 with the handling pack.

Eta... more sensible than an Atom.

This is brilliant.

Failing that, I've got an AMG CLK63 Black Series up for sale..... would make complete mincemeat out of the things he's had, and at least it kind of looks like a saloon!

A Lotus Carlton. With that kind of money, you'll get the best you can buy and you'll have a good reserve to give it the care and attention it needs.

Got to be a Nissan GT-R.
Otherworldly performance, shouldn't lose a packet on it either.

Quattroporte s. Not "super" per se but very special compared to all the germans.

Super saloon for the summer? Would over 600bhp on dry roads be to your friends liking?

The Quattroporte GTS is a good shout though, in a completely different way.
