V8 rag top - Choices?
Discussion
Hi Chaps,
I'm on the hunt for another car and am wondering what the PH massive would suggest?
The Cobra rep is loads of fun, however it is limited to sunny days only (no hard top, nor soft top) so I'm looking for another V8 to park up beside it.
Needs to be manual, suitably rapid, rather noisy (or have the capability of being turned into something less than subtle) and a reasonably good steer.
It won't be a track day tool. It will be for jaunts abroad and perhaps the odd weekend away when the Cobra would get its feet wet.
Budget for this would be circa £20k.
Please do throw me your opinions
I'm open to all of them.
Cheers,
C.

Reckon a TVR might be a bit too similar to a Cobra replica. So how about a Mustang, Corvette, Camaro or Trans Am?I'm on the hunt for another car and am wondering what the PH massive would suggest?

The latest toy - just for summer cruising in the sun (if it shines much this summer).
7.0L of big block ford coupled to a four speed toploader gearbox...massive fun and a massive soundtrack thanks to massive sidepipes :-)

Op already has this. Meaning no disrespect to the TVR, but I very much doubt it'd win in a sound contest.

The Cobra sets of car alarms just by starting up, let alone pootling down small town high streets.
It may be an oldie but in no ways an ugly duckling.
