Nearly new FFRR - why do some still have gear stick?
Discussion
Toying with the idea of a nearly new FFRR - perusing autotrader I have seen some that have no gear stick (which I like) and some which still have the gear stick (looks old fashioned now I have seen those without...!)
What isn't so obvious is what the criteria is which seperates the two - I have looked at 2010 and 2011 cars and it seems to vary.
Can anyone cast any light on this confusion?
Cheers
Phil

Twas a facelift when they dumped the old gear stick in favour of the Jaguar rotary controller.
Ah, but it's more complicated that that, I think the 5.0 S/C still has the gearstick, probably still has the old gearbox! I test drove a 4.4 tdv8 and was told about it, I think the new gearbox can't take the power from the S/C.Gassing Station | Land Rover | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
