Why can't I decide on some wheels?

I'm at my wits end trying to decide on some wheels for the Cerb.

I knackered both my fronts and although the rears are still good, flat spotted the tyres. I cannot get replacement wheels, so am going down the replacement route as the easiest option. Well, I say easy. I have been shuffling through www.alloywheels.com looking for wheels and what I liked yesterday, I hate today.

Can anyone help me decide? I want 18" wheels, how hard can it be???

My car is a Paris Blue 4.5 if that helps.

I know there are no replacement wheels available, they were the wheels on the Sagaris show car and I have tried everywhere I know for replacements to no avail.

Paris Blue....I think that best suits silver wheels.
I presume you dont want spiders?
How about 18inch RL7s?
I personally dont like the SP12 wheels in silver.

I think on your car I'd be looking at the XT7? They are expensive though (I think).

I have some 18" Spiders with decent tyres in the classifieds at the moment if you are interested.

For me the RL7's look nicest (but I would day that), after all weren't they what was used on the original press Cerbera? Albeit in 17" guise.

Easy - RL17's or SP 12's. They fit propely, they suit the Cerb, they are strong, and You and everyone else will think they look good.
Choose anything else, and it's a compromise, opinion will be split, and you'll always wish you'd stuck with one of the above

Have to disagree - I dont think the SP12's do suit the cerb - certainly not a light coloured Cerb with silver SP12's.

The current wheels (Jade?) look great on Sagaris but I am not so sure with the Cerb....?

So my vote is RL7's (17 or 18 inch) or Spiders.

Personally I think there are very, very few aftermarket wheels that suit the curves of the Cerb. I'd be looking at getting something OEM from another manufacturer. A lot of the Japanese makes have the same PCD, you then just need to make sure you get the right offset, or be willing to use a small spacer.

I had a lovely set of Lexus Sport wheels, I think they would have looked great on the Cerbera without standing out as aftermarket wheels. Decided to sell them though and stick with my 16" wheels now to keep some decent handling.

Had RL7's in 17" and got rid for the 18's. Not a huge fan of the 'normal' aftermarket wheels for a Cerb, but might have to go down that route I suppose......off to scan the classifieds.

A strong possibility, but never been a fan of Spiders - very handy straightforward bolt on though.

went through that thread and the only wheel I thought looked nice was the RL7 in black on teh floor
I say it every thread, so this must get boring now, but the Compomotive Mo6's are the closest of the after market wheels that look 'right' to me on the Cerb. You can get them in up to 10" wide rims too if you need to get some serious rubber. Have a look at Longbows's profile.

I can`t see how those jades with straight lines and sharp angles look good on any TVR except perhaps a wedge .
