Is a new shape Range Rover in the pipeline soon??

My girlfriend is in the market for a 4x4, and the RR Sport is on the shortlist (X5 and X6 are the other two on the list).

Does anyone know if they are due to introduce a new model anytime soon? We wouldn't want to buy one only for it to be replaced 6 months down the line.

They only just changed the shape of the RR, about a year ago.

Nothing major but the aesthetics are slightly different.

They are bringing out a new model soon, the Evoque, but as for the RR i woulnd't have thought so.

Stay away from the x5, absolutely crap. New shape rrs are brilliant.

The next one isn't due any time soon. I think Autocar said it was due in 2014 in one of it's recent magazines. If I remember rightly, I think it said it will be bigger but lighter and more upmarket.

Current Range Rover is a bit dated but they have refreshed it several times to keep it up to date, don't think there is an all-new model due for a good few years.
