Need a bit of help here, just bought a 2003 Vogue as my 2nd car and have a few annoying bits to sort out...

1) The glovebox has stopped closing - the latch will not stay in the closed position and the door just falls open again?! It was working fine until a few days ago.

2) Wing mirrors - press the fold button and they both fold in and then automatically fold back out - not very useful!

3 iPod connectivity - the car has standard nav, and for some reason I cannot find any products to connect the iPod up - i always use dension products but cannot find one for the RR which is strange as the nav system seems to be exactly the same as on my old M3 which had tons of products available to get the iPod hooked up to it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Can't help much with (1). Could be anything from a minor adjustment to a new lock knowing RR.

I had the problem with (2), although the mirrors generally seem to have a life of their own. I'd start with pushing and holding (for more than two seconds, I think), the folding mirror button and they should re-sync themselves. After that, a gentle "technical tap" on top of each mirror may help - emphasis on gentle.

Regarding (3), a lot of the electronics are early BMW X5 so a lot of kit is compatible. It's a bit of a gamble as none will be marked as suitable for a Range Rover. I had an aftermarket stereo fitted to mine and gambled on an X5 compatible interface for the steering wheel buttons. Works fine.

(4) wink

If you haven't done it already, get your gearbox oil changed.

Regarding point 2, a double tap of the open/close button also re-syncs things!
