Recomendations for comfortable seats and driving position
Discussion
please
I am looking to get a small to medium sized car with good fuel economy.
Ergonomic design of the seats and position is the general concern.
I have driven a fair few cars over the past 5 years. I am now 25. On a regular basis I used to drive a Saxo VTR. If the drivers seat was not so offset from the pedals I probably would have kept it to this day. The car was a lot of fun to drive as it handled so well; after an hours drive I would feel pain in the legs and back of the right side of my body.
I currently drive an E39 5 series. I find the seats to be the most comfortable I have found in any car, even after a 3 - 5 hour journey I feel no physical fatigue. I do a lot of physical training on a recreational basis and as a result my posture is in fairly good shape, though sometimes I feel as though the car has helped this a little bit.
