Yes, Edmunds.com, have the Noble on there opening sequence for one simple reason, they declare it is the best all round performing car they have ever tested and still holds the record on the slalom at 80mph, the next closest car was the GT3RS which managed 75mph, the ariel atom only managed 70mph, that 10mph slower through the slalom!! No other car has even come close.
Edmunds.com is my favourite website for comparing cars performance, they put each car through the same test, on the same track, same driver and same weather conditions.

Greetings Conrad, are you still beating the crap out of allcomers on the Scalextric track smile

Cripes! 3.2s to 60mph - has anyone in the UK got this type of performance from an M400?

Not from a stock one smile, i think the Americans have a slightly different spec of turbo.

I thought the US ones were built using the T28s like our ones? do you happen to know what spec turbos they use over there?

I think they use a diferent compressor housing Ar60, i think the UK spec M400 have a AR48, they are T28 hybrids so there may well be other slight modifications.
It is also partly the reason that they can get much more power out of their standard turbos.

They reference, however, identical power/lbft metrics so can't imagine the specs are materially different? Quarter mile time seems in line with UK tests no?

No, not stock anyway, you would not get that performance out of a UK spec M400 unless it has been back on the Dyno for a new map.

The US M400 also had a slightly modified map from stock, which makes sense seen as though they had a slightly different spec of turbo.
Basically if you have a stock UK M400 that has not been remapped post production, you will not achieve these performance figures.
