Not actually the bad type - phew!

Spotted in local Tesco. The rather innovative local BM dealer has copied the Andy Warol et al BM's

I thought it rather good - bit of fun - what do you think?

Was there any evidence of a child being transported? Or was it in the parent bay to protect the paint job?

The drivers seat is pushed forward so somebody was probably in the back. Shall we give them the benefit of the doubt? Not that it really matters of course, it is just a parking space after all.

Kind of - that's a guy called Stefan Marner's car. It's his art, and the idea was triggered by BMW's ArtCar projects... http://www.bmwdrives.com/bmw-artcars.php

It looks great, after all it is only a bit of fun. I wonder if he has done any more?

It's an interesting way of livening up a fairly dull car.

Yeah I felt a little petty posting that - my beef is with the s of Essex - my boy's 13 months old and I parked in a parent and child space for the first time yesterday - always filled with 4x4's or other bling, occasionally with school age children in them, often not.

Anyway, back on topic, I go against the grain on this and think it's horrendous looking. Like a joke car or something. But I do have a stinky yellow snot cold and am even more miserable than normal today smile

That's fun!

I notice the names 'race car driver style' on the rear window, any idea whether this car has been used in some kind of charity rally?

Are the cartoon characters well known? Unfortunately, I'm not up to date with my cartoons and not anythign I recognise.

They look like credits, if my squinty eyes haven't let me down it says;

Stephan Marmer (and the personal reg also says ST 54 FAN
Carrs BMW (Bury St. Edmunds)
Haddo (Signs and graphics)

Not sure who it is but I like it!

And it's Stefan Marner, an artist.

Hes been signed to Washington Green, so expect to see a lot of his work towards the end of the year.
He's been tipped to be the next big thing in the art world.
