My FIL has retired and wants to sell his L300 Mitsubishi. 150k and MOT until August with 6 months tax. Good tyres. Everything works as it should and it is tidy.

He has no idea of value and neither do I. A local pikey offered to buy it but before he even thinks about ringing him I thought I would ask PH massive for a rough estimate.

Yes that is a bit of old gutter as a rear bumper, and he has just touched it up with some garage floor paint where it is a bit rusty!

Surely it's got to be worth a few hundred quid. Still plenty of life left in the old girl.

Yeah. Hard to put the exact figure on it

I'd say £400-500, the tax alone must be worth £120ish?

Get on ebay and search on completed items. Looking at the 'sold' ones suggests that it may be worth rather more than the guesses above - possibly in the region of £1300-1400, rather surprisingly. You would need to pick through the results a bit to get a feel for what it's really worth.

Good idea eggman, it runs perfectly and the underneath is solid. I should know as I had to remove the fuel tank to fix a wee leak! Off to ebay I go.

Edited to add it might fetch £1400 quid by the look of it!
