In title "Had my MKI RS2000 detailed by Mercury Detailing - Hull"

I had the bonnet of my RS painted satin black and didn't realise I could do anything to look after it without making it shiny. Keeping it clean is a bit of a nightmare as it shows every fingerprint and mark.

Spoke to Matt @ Mercury Detailing who said he could wax & protect with a separate range of products while not making it shiny. Had the whole car detailed which made it look superb. Check out the video of the water sheeting off the matt finish, it just used to soak water up. Very impressed. His web site site at mercurydetailing.com shows more stuff or ring him on 07904 249996.

Guys please... we know who Mercury Detailing are and reporting on a great job is fine... just be careful about going overboard with the contact details please or the posts may fall into the overtly advertising bracket.

Thanks smile

ps: I have edited the title down to the subject matter as five mentions of the company was just a little bit OTT

Accepted.

However, the car was turning into a bit of a garage queen as some of the surfaces are quite delicate and I was only happy driving it in the upmost perfect conditions. Not only did Matthew do a superb job in detailing the car, and this is the most crucial part, he has made the car useable which means I am happier taking it out without worrying about the damage being caused by whatever prevailing environmental conditions happen to be present. I have used other such professionals in the past and no-one has yet come close in my opinion.

For this great service I told him I'd shout his name from the rooftops to anyone else who is storing rather than driving.

No problem Mike smile

Matt, if you're reading, did you get sorted for a car for one of the shows you were attending? Give me a shout if you want mine and, if the dates/logistics work, you are welcome to it.
