I am having a new kitchen installed that the mo. A fitter is doing most of the work (I don't have time), but I am taking stuff (old kitchen and packaging etc) to the dump because I don't have to pay in a car and he does in a van.
Been a couple of times this week in the Audi (sensible family car) the workers there mostly ignored me and I didn't really notice.
Wife pinched Audi this weekend so i got the Capri out and filled it with cardboard and polystyrene for another dump trip.
Wow! I drove in to the tip and all six workers there, dropped what they were doing and came to help me unload, and have a look at the car "look a proper car!", "Don't see many of those anymore", "my mate used to have one of them until he crashed it" they said, and similar nice things, and all waved me off as I left.

Might use it more often for that, although I can't fit as much in as an Audi estate. However the attention/reaction put a smile on my face for the day.

I go to the dump in BG, wearing my old scruffs, the big square boot is useful.
