142.9 for diesel - anyone beat that?
Discussion
Spotted in the Esso garage on the A36 between Warminster and Salisbury yesterday - a notoriously expensive Esso place I was boycotting long before the email went round asking everyone to boycott them.
Can anybody beat this? And can anyone explain why the gap between diesel and petrol prices is widening (again)?

£1-48 for diesel in the only petrol station in Marlborough in Wiltshire, but theyve always been way over priced compared to anyone else.
but heres the mentality of people and how much the majority of the population dont care about fuel prices; driving through Wootton Bassett yesterday morning there are 2 petrol stations within a couple of hundred yards of each other, one selling petrol for £1-34 the other for £1-40, so why would anyone actually be anywhere near the more expensive when a matter of seconds away its much cheaper, yet there were still cars on the more expensive forecourt!
