Came across this after reading a newspaper article. Bit out of the ordinary in the used arena. Lots of other stuff too - but mostly in Olive Drab.

What a strange loop. That link was posted here earlier in the week after an police escort was spotted.

Nice, but there was an armoured Rolls Royce in the classified section a couple of years ago and it was less than £10K. I can't imagine the fuel economy would be up to much on the RR either, but £15K would buy you a lot of petrol.

I guess you probably wouldn't need first party insurance in either case smile

Either the OP of the link saw the same article and had the armoured jags in mind, or the article writer reads PH.

Having done some work to a armoured XJ8 I can quite happily say they are bloody awful. Soooo much heavier than the standard XJ. Also munch their way through suspension bushes as fast as they disolve feul

Very - 51 plate Audi S8 at 5k looks good value, and probably not messed around with like most other S8s at that level!

Not sure that leaving the towing eye on the front is a good selling point.

The fact there are cherished plates is interesting. Anyone know the significance on the PGW initials?

I heard that armoured cars couldn't be registered by the public in the UK? In case they fell in to the 'wrong' hands.
