Which One??

Trying to decide between getting a 2004/5 Honda Civic Type R or a 2004 BMW 330ci m-sport. Would like peoples opinions. From what I hear there both about the same mpg, I would be getting either a 1 or 2 year warrenty so Im not overly worried about parts prices at the moment. Although one thing I havnt much looked into is tyre costs if anyone has any ideas that would be helpful. (My last car was an Audi S3 and I really liked the fact I could just put the foot down in any gear and just go, not sure if you can get this from a civic? Iv only test drove the BMW so far)

2 very different cars, and it would depend on what you personally wanted from a car.

The Type-R engine is a lot of things, but torquey isn't one of them, unfortunately. I like the EP3 Civic Type-R very much, but I couldn't own a UK car knowing how much better the JDM equivalent would be.

The 330Ci is a lovely car, although I'd only have a manual one. Probably not as quick across ground as the Honda, but I suspect that ultimately it'd be more rewarding. I've always loved the 330Ci Clubsports too, for while they don't really provide any dynamic differences, they are pretty exclusive.

I'd prefer the Bimmer over the CTR, personally.

I thought they would be about the same speed as well?

my stock 9-5 aero was just as quick as my mates 330ci and my aero destroyed type r's above 40mph
