Yesterday I waved a sad farewell to my 1980 Tasmin 280i FHC as it disappeared on a trailer to start its new life in Germany. Although sad I know the new owner is a complete TVRaholic and Horatio will be in great hands. At least I still have my Chimaera.

I heard that the Germans longed to get their hands on a Spitfire so they could copy that as well, back in WW2...

Story goes Peter Wheeler loaned a wedge to some German press (Correct me if I am wrong) it found its way to a BMW factory and not long afterwards the BMW Z1 appeared, not sure if authentic but mentioned in a few TVR books !!!
