Hi everyone,

I'm needing some advice on who to use for trader insurance for under 21 year olds with NO restriction as to value, engine size, etc etc - I've already tried Axa, and Tradex who both are known for good rates on under 25's but the best price so far is £10,400. Bit steep me thinks!

Thanks

p.s - I know 100% I'm going to be well and truly raped no matter what - but the cheaper the better!

You request NO restriction on value, yet balk at the quote. For all they know you could be trading £1m+ value cars. Try setting a realistic value and getting another quote. Will you be trading £0-50k, £100k or £1m+ cars.

I said the approx value, roughly 25-100k, but they were more concerned about the engine size - you can get a 6.0litre Bentley for £35k or a 6.0litre Aston for 150k, the main thing for them was engine size rather than the specific value.

Are you actually trading, or is this the lead up to a scam?

Sorry?

At this stage it's just research into trading - insurance being a major issue with me being 20 and my business parter, despite being 48, the premium is bound to be stupid - but vital.
