I've always wanted an 8 series and am now looking to buy. Would be looking for a cherished car with full/extensive history. Can either be 840 or 850 and willing to pay good money for the right car.

If you know of such a car or indeed own such a car and are looking at selling please drop me a pm.

Many thanks.

My local super has an advertisement for an (on 1st look) immaculate blue 840i, which I've seen parked behind it on occasion. It's in Aylesbury though, but if you're after more details, I can retrieve the ad from the notice board for you? The reg number is A10 WOA (so you can check at least some details)

Excellent find, that's indeed the one... such a shame someone took offence to it as it is this morning resting on a flat tyre frown

And the reason why I say that is because a 3 series convertable has had all 4 tyres slashes not too long ago on the same car park frown

And I just noticed that the alloys in the pictures are in real life black...

I would touch that with yours let alone mine, the owner is no enthusiast in my mind if he cant be arsed to sort out the so called small problems in his ownership as he has "Learned to live with them". It has no history since 104k miles its now on 132k miles. ABS linked to seat sensor, really......

I wouldnt give it a second glance, especially if i was looking asking for an immaculate car, as the OP is.

I did have this here on PH about a month ago but half decided to keep it...

Just in case it's of interest to you.
It's not imaculate in my fussy eyes, it's a daily driver for me, but it is in overall nice condition and could be a good solid basis for making it as prestine as you want. Had one viewer who had been looking at various 8's and said mine was by far the best he'd seen, we'd agreed on a price before he decided an 8 wasn't practicle enough.

Indeed sounds lovely except green is not really what I'm looking for.

Thanks though.

I hope this is not going to be another one of those threads where the poster looking for a car gets everyone else looking or offering their car and then refuses them all from pictures only, complains about there being no nice cars around and then ends up buying a 318 Compact on another thread and doesn't let anyone know...biggrin

Good luck with your "search"....haha

Hi,
Streben in Stoke-on-Trent have a red 840 on their website with 44k miles at £12k; looks nice on the surface of it so might be worth a call; tel.no. is 01782 286168.
Cheers.

Did you enquire about the 840 at Streben in Stoke-on-Trent and was it of interest ?
