Battery 027??

Hi Guys,

does an 027 fit?
My battery has given in, and i currently have a Banner Bi post, but an 027 is the same size, and easier/less expensive.
I understand the terminals are the wrong way around, but if you spin the battery round, they are then on the right side, but then not exposed by the hole.

I always remove the cover as you would scratch it with crock clips anyway.

Can't help with the 027 I'm afraid, but I just fitted an 010 in mine. Had to grind off the nut from the battery plate and put another one on a couple of inches further out - but it's a beast of a battery. The Bosch Silver one I put on has about 800 A cranking power IIRC.

I got an 027 for mine and it fits nicely, terminal no longer accessible from the hole in the panel, but can charge through the fag lighter in long layup periods.

£114 from them, they can kiss my @ss, nowt wrong with what i have, Yuasa with a 4 yr warranty, £70.

When was the last time you got one from them? The last one I got definitely didn't fit.
