Been trying to sell my 156 2.0 Veloce 2002 for 4 weeks now, its the best priced one around, its in Autotrader, Top Marques, & on the net...not one call.
What is going on,its 2 years old & half its original purchase price, its just the right spec & has been immaculately maintained ( never car washed, oil changes b/n services etc ).
Anyone got any ideas?

For some strange reason people seem scared of second hand alfa's. I have just bought one and am really happy with it. Have you put it in PH classifieds.

Another website is www.alfaowner.com

I think you can post ads free on there, may be worth a go...

Also www.findit.co.uk Costs a fiver I think.

One of the biggest problems is how cheap some of the car supermarkets are shifting them for now...
I've seen 2002/3 small nose facelift 2.0JTS's for £8,999....

Even if they were imports, at £12,999 for a brand new one, you couldn't go wrong....

I think a lot of people are put off with reliability concerns / Lack of warranty with private sales. There are a lot of horror stories still doing the rounds with these cars!

Thing is, i've had Alfas for over 5 years now,( my last one a 155 ) & they've been utterly reliable & superb fun.To my mind they put a sparkle into everyday motoring that the Germans just cant hope to ever emulate!!!

Must admit mate if we had as deep pockets (or as good a credit rateing ) as you we'd be interested in it instead of looking for intergaltic mileage Golf GTi's
Anyone after a good Alfa 156 could do a lot worse than look at this one I think it actually gets washed more often than the Cerbera
