Looked at the Defender 110 at the Geneva Motor Show this weekend, but dont know what is new about it. It had a "Premier" sticker on the windscreen, so something is new/special about it. Any ideas?

Limited edition, similar or the same as the X-Tech.

Just styling tweaks I believe, also available in Zermatt silver.

Another styling exercise from LR with a comedy price tag.

They keep on peddling them out to gullible fans!

In the defender camp you got 2 distinct customers.

Customer 1 wants to get a job done and needs the defender to do it in, he will be in and out of it all day in waterproofs and wellies with a dog etc.

Customer 2 wants a lifestyle type vehicle to help him with his leisure time ...he uses the defender on the road alot more and wants heated screen/seats etc.... he also wants a vehicle that looks good ....so no doubt Land Rover keep producing these limited editions.... its taken LR a long time to listen and its nice to see them responding to the market.

Myself ...am in the deep bronze green traditionist camp.

Each to their own, I like it.

Had Defenders since the first, think it's great to see more LTD editions.

Pick up my new X-Tech 90 on Saturday, but would have liked it better as a 110 Utility though.

Andy.

I'm somewhere in the middle! Our 110 (TDCi XS) gets used "properly" but also gets a fair bit of time as a family car that happens to go anywhere. And the heated seats are a boon after a mid Winter surf!
