Looking for a solution that will enable both bluetooth and ipod/phone connection.

Car is an 07 Cooper S with Nav. Put a deposit on it but there isn't any 'communication' section on the screen so assumed BT isn't there.

e.g. found this: http://www.xcarlink.co.uk/product.php?productid=14... and it has a BT box as well. Anyone with experience?

BMW sell a retrofit kit or you could just buy a new parrot, that will do the job

Thanks, but the BMW kit is ipod only and the Parrot kits have displays or MFSW only.
I'd like it to be integrated into the Nav screen?

I was under the impression that BMW do both retro kits, if they don't then you will not be able to get your phone working through the sat nav

I'll dig more then. The most important thing is the bluetooth, ultimately the music less so.

The ipod is available as two retrofit kits with and without USB.

The Handsfree retrofit kit is a Parrot kit in a fancy chrome ring housing.

Anyone else done this?

OK, so digging more.... The car has a Chilli pack which apparently comes with 'basic bluetooth'

Any clues on how it works?
