Some f
ker(s) went along my road last night removing badges from BMWs. They took front and rear badges from my M5 and the front badge from the X5. They failed to get the rear badge from the X5, but damaged the paintwork in the attempt. My wife asked around this morning and at least two more in the street suffered the same fate.
The strangest thing is that they didn't take the M5 badge. I'd have thought that was top of the list for any thief stealing to bling up old BMWs. That makes me wonder whether it might have been some lunatic BMW-hater. An anonymous note appeared on the X5 couple of weeks ago saying "Learn to park, BMW wker" (the car was parked perfectly, within the lines, as far forward as possible in the residents' parking box to leave as much room as possible for others to park).

A few months back I put a brand new BMW badge on my bonnet to replace the old ratty looking one, went to the cinema and when i came out some fecker had nicked it!!

Little buggers. A group of them round here did over 60 cars in one evening. Luckily one of my colleagues spotted them and they got busted. Amusingly it was when the RoadWars crew were in town, so it made the tv. The punishment they received for damaging over 60 cars and causing several thousand pounds of damage.....a Police caution.
Hope you get it sorted soon though. As the M5 is my dream car I can imagine how angry you must be.
