Hi all,

My recently acquired, otherwise splendid inside, Chim has what looks like a cigarette burn on the light coloured vinyl trim on the transmission tunnel. It's just to the left of the handbrake and therefore I see it everytime I glance down and it annoys me (as I like unblemished cars!). Anyone know if/how it could be repaired, if there are any products out there for this sort of thing or is it a "get the whole interior re-covered" job? If the latter anyone know of any pro outfits in the South East that do such repairs...my web searching has yielded little fruit so far?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

TVM,

- A.

Get yourself down to your nearest Halfords - They've started doing all sorts of repair kits, valour, leather, vinyl, etc. Shouldn't cost more that £20.

I had white scuffs on my black interior trim. I bought some black vinyl touchup paint and I was amazed. I cant even see where I put the paint. Of course if the mark is deep then you will but at least the colour will be the same

I know a guy near Chelmsford Essex who should be able to work magic on it (recover it if req'd) and he is a reasonable cost. let me know if you want his No.

Thanks all,

I'll check out the Halfords option at lunchtime - I notice they seem to have changed their image lately maybe they will have a kit for this sort of melarky....

Cheers again
