Briefing: "Overtaking is on the right"

Tanoy 5 mins after: "Attention paddock, overtaking is on the left"

LOL!

Apart from that and a mate having his rucksack stolen whilst he was out on sighting laps (anyone see anything dodgy around garage 2 around 9am??) , the day was excellent.

I spectated for a few hours on Sunday. Clios and MG ZR all looked like they were going well! Anyone doing other donington dates later this year?

Was a fantastic day ,if not a little busy on track. I think I was the only phase 1 Clio there on the day and the car was going very well indeed.

First time at Donington and loved the track (especially Craners).

Sorry to hear about the bag stolen, really don't expect that on a track day, I always leave bags and tools laying around in the garages frown

Thanks Olivera - my bright orange MGZR went really well on only second time out. (was built over the winter).
Great conditions for experimenting on wet, damp and dry circuit.

Well run by Focussed, ignoring the mixed messages on the overtaking rule!

LOL!
That would have stood had some of us not protested, when you think about it, was dangerous.
Was amazed at briefing at how few picked up on this!!!

Totally agree! I was stood next to the chap who did the briefing and immediately said out loud "hey?" when he said overtake on the right....only a few people can have been listening, it was so odd to hear "overtake on the right"........I'm just glad the message got through that it was overtaking on the left afterall, otherwise there could have been some doing right, some doing left....which would have been a total mess!! I've done Donnington a few times before and have never heard about "overtaking on the right because its Donnington"....a very odd and very casual error they made I reckon!
