Buying from a main dealer ?
Discussion
I am going to look at a used 2004 c class coupe - 200K pan/Evo sport at a mercedes dealer at the week end.
The car is for my wife & we have tight budget to play with.
It is advertised for £8999.00.(with leather,parktronic F & R, heated seats & lux climate) 37.000 miles.
What price do you think i should be able to negotiate with the dealer (cash no PX).
I know a main dealer price is going to be more but the price seems a little high ?
Any help or comments would be help full

Every dealer will have different margins to play with, on a car this age the recon bill could have been well over £1k plus a warranty so the margin many not be quite as big as you think.
It also depends on how long they've had the car in stock, it could be that they've reduced it to move it on, in which case the margin for negotiation would be very small.
I think if you get anywhere between £500 - £1k off you've done pretty well.

Price sounds about right for a main dealer
I put it through CAP for you, assuming its a 04-reg 37k C200K Sport Coupe Evo Pan SE Auto with COMAND, Heated Seats, Lux Climate and Parktronic it's come back with the following values:

I'd offer £8500 cash and work from there
HTH
