Repairing air box

While removing the battery tonight I found out that the air box is not fixed to the bracket at the rear. It seems like the 2 allen bolts at the front go in to captive nuts, but there is just a hole at the rear. Is it easily repairable, has anyone managed a fix or is it just a case of a new box?

Do you mean that the mounting part of the air box has broken off?

If so mine has been like that since I got the car and it's never caused any problems for me.

If you mean something else do you have a pic of it?

Its all fibre glass. Easy repair. Nuts, resin, done. Don'tya just love GRP...

Yes, the captive nut in the airbox is missing. I'd like to fix it, but would rather be driving it

Well practiced with repairing the battery box in that way on the Chimaera

i've got the airbox trumpets to repair at some stage on the airboxes i removed for the carbon one. Summer job i think.
