Cut out device

Can anyone help, just driving along put foot down and car stopped and won't start again is there any fuel or ignition cut outs on the 2.5. Cheers Dave.

Nope.... check the rear two righthand relays on the bulk head and the four fuses above the ecu.
When you switch it on does the fuel pump prime ?

Thank for speedy reply. I cant hear a fuel pump priming so it could be that.

Once again thanks but where abouts are the relays? drivers side, passenger side, in the car or somewhere in the front or rear, I have looked and can't find anything. Sorry to be a pain

Hi Dave , the relays are mounted on the engine side of the rear bulkhead on the drivers side infront of the air con compresser . They can be problematic and control fuel pump and ecu functions , take the drivers side rear wheel off then the plastic wheel arch cover this should give you good axcess to both the relays and all the engine bay fuses .
