Just a heads up for anyone in Leeds - Shell on Kirkstall road is selling V-Power petrol at a reduced rate 'for 3 days' according to the sign. I filled up tonight at 133.9 (grrrrr) but the cooking Shell unleaded was 135.9.

Don't know when it started, or when it finishes but it might be worth stopping in if you're passing. smile

The one on Harrogate road was £1.33.9 when i last filled up, 2 p cheaper than the time before and normal unleaded had gone up by a penny or 2. So in realistic terms its around 4-5p cheaper than it was compared to a couple of weeks ago.

There was a thread about this elsewhere as the price has mysteriously dropped at a number of shell stations by a few pence overnight.

Possibly a change in recipe? More bio content?

That's worth knowing - I live within 2 miles. Cheers for the heads-up!

Just been to fill up the CS and Vpower unleaded is now the same price as normal unleaded @ 133.9 in Sunny scunny. Asked the cashier why as its because the demand for v-power has dropped so now in line with normal unleaded. Still expensive £95 to fill the frezza, has a 1/4 in the tank before fill up

That is cheap as chips compared with what I had to pay today. Went down to the Sunday Service at Gaydon. Just as we arrived, the low fuel light came on. Found a Shell station near Stratford; £1.49 a litre!!!.
Only put enough in to get me home. Half a mile from home, the light came on again!

Have to fill up at my local station in Sheffield, usually around £1.38 a litre.

Such vulgarity, talking about fuel prices on PHs. You wouldn't catch the queen talking about money! rolleyes
