I think I know the car in your photo! The only other XJ220 I have seen on the road was parked outside a hotel in Paris. They are are rare sight but there are a few enthusiast owners around who do drive them on a regular basis and take them to shows.

Okay Scrimper, I believe ya! I saw a XJ220 when they first came out many moons ago. Was down a country road and it pulled out from a T junction, nearly smashed the van into a ditch and then had to go home and change my pants!

Is it just me or does the very last part of text on their advert suggest that new (unregistered) XJ220's are available for £210,000???

"Current Situation

Production of the car ceased in April 1994, due to an economic down turn affecting demand for specialist cars of this type. The production total was 281. The remaining unsold cars were relocated to Jaguar’s Headquarters at Browns Lane in Coventry. A service facility was established and the task of selling the remaining stock became the responsibility of Howard Davies. The price today is 210,000 GBP plus taxes".

Don't know where they dug that from Jaguar’s Headquarters at Browns Lane hasn't been there for some time now.
