Odd advert and percentage of load

On the mobile site, the homepage and forums at least, I get a black window at the bottom appear with a percentage. I clicked it and get an advert link.

Mr Will, can I email the picture to you as I can't post it here. It's rather annoying and scrolls down as I do.

I probably haven't explained that very well.

It's a video advert for the samsung galaxy s and seems to be loading on every topic on the mobile site..

Terrible intrusive ad that eats up my bandwidth - it's for a phone as well, which I've obviously got already otherwise I wouldn't be seeing it.

Down with this sort of thing.

Was getting on every page filling up the page on Safari on iPhone.

VERY ANNOYING.

Now using Mercury and not getting it.
Atomic browser also immune.

I would do Will, but it seems to have stopped happening on my phone, have tested in Safari and Atomic ..

Have attempted to send you two pictures in separate emails.

Didn't manage to click it and grab the URL of the advert.

It's stopped happening on mine too now - perhaps it does it on a rotational basis?

I feel a bit 'Daily Wail' now.

If it happens again I'll send it on.

I'm getting it at the moment, fills the screen on my iphone and the close window X doesn't seem to do anything, it just opens the forum link behind it and then starts loading the advert again on that page.

I know this makes no sense but here it is. I have two iPhones, both 3G, one on o2 the other orange - neither connected to wifi. The ad is consistently present on my orange but not o2.

If you have a mac as well as an iphone you could try using glimmerblocker as a proxy - eliminates pretty much all ads. Click.

Getting it in Australia too, iPhone 4, on telstra connection, which is like BT.
