HI steve, Will be at the essex meet in April! Just putting the old girl back together. Have so far fitted new brake servo, new stearing bulkhead bush and bearing, rewired and replaced relay & most of the wireing to the electric wing mirrors, B######s still dont work, Fitted this week new gaz struts. Now have a problem with nearside rear, as the camber angle is wrong, wheel is laying in at the top by about4% will try to adjust on spring tension, but set both rear units up on the bench with a vernier so should both be identical.
Welded new passenger seat belt braket, and tomorrow fitting new top baljoints. Next week off for the MOT, then god willing and a following breeze will see you at next months meet

Ray it may not help setting them up with the vernier as its the length under the weight of the car thats the important bit - plus the chassis is hand built so there might be a bit of variation.
It sounds like you need to wind up the height slightly on that side.

Have just posted, a small but nagging problem ( not the old woman, she wont go through the letter box). Since fitting the rear suspension I have more camber angle on the nearside than the offside!" have stripped it all down again, rebuilt it but can find no way of altering it. Not sure if it was like it before, but pretty sure it wasnt as being a ex engineer i am always looking at angles and moaning if they are out of square. May have to go to specsavers!
