Has anyone reserved a Kangaroo tv for this years race?

Hi,

Has anyone been able to reserve one? I have been on the website and when I log onto to reserve page I can't fill in all the details because I can't select the options, so either they haven't started taking reservations or they have run out.

Any news?

I think you'll find that it is closed because its last years and hasn't opened for this year yet... some people on 10-tenths have mailed Kangaroo to see if it will be available at the 24hr and if it is when the website will be opened.

Was a fantastic piece of kit, rented one last year - first time i'd seen one. was impressed and really got me into the spirit of the race.

I emailed them on Monday and they replied "We are working very hard to be present at Le Mans. We will get back to all our loyal customers as soon as we have all set up"

I really hope they are there. They were great to have last year.

"I unfortunately cannot confirm yet whether we will be at Le Mans this year or not. We are working on it and we really want to be there! I’ve filed your email for follow-up when we get the final word and I will let you know as soon as possible."

Oh, bks. I really liked the Kangaroo last year. I do hope they're there this year.

I wonder if the circuit/ACO are asking megabucks for them to be there?

Even the teams were using them last year.

I spoke to Craig Hiscoe of Fanvision yesterday aftrenoon in Canada and he is just finalising arrangements with ACO, he is hopeful that details of hire will be avaiable in April. I think this has more to do with the takeover of Kangeroo TV by the owner of the Miami Dolphins than the ACO.

I received this email response from them last night:

We are not able to confirm at this time whether or not we will be in Le Mans this year.  I have received quite a lot of interest in this is the past couple of days and will relay the information to management.   We will announce either way as soon as possible and I have filed your email for a follow-up when we are ready.  Sorry for the inconvenience and I’ll be in touch.
