Pictures at the bottom:

I have bought a Cayenne S which I am in the process of preparing.

It has 20" Sport Techno Alloys in body colour, as ordered from new. I am going to get them refurbished properly which will mean stripping the whole wheel back to bare metal, so I will have to choice to paint them as they were, or the more common plain silver.

I am only asking as I have already received a couple of comments (from people who don't really know a great deal about Porsches) along the lines of "are they aftermarket wheels?"

Body coloured wheels are a bit more common on 911's but you don't see them much on Cayennes, and if they look a bit aftermarket I am wondering would I be better off if they were painted silver? Would they sell better? so I need a general consensus.

Also, the coloured wheel picture is form the actual car, and the callipers are silver, rather the usual red you get on the S model.

Mods: Please feel free to move this to Porsche, I wanted to start it here to get a broader initial response. Thanks.

First one's are best, the others are too skinny to suit a Cayenne.

The first ones, 2nd picture makes the spokes look too thin.

They are the same style of wheel, just painted different.

Also the bottom one, is of a rear wheel with a smaller brakes which don't help, and the picture isn't the best either.

Yes, but the effect is markedly different. The bottom ones appear to have a far thinner spoke, which won;t suit the Cayenne.

Definitely option 1

Option 2 looks like something you'd see at Southend on a Saturday night

Ok, so the overwhelming opinion is for the silver finish. Which will probably be cheaper too, good news for me!

Only thing that still worries me a bit is silver wheels with silver callipers?

Don't want to post too many details here, but link to my website via my profile for those who expressed an interest.
