Need Info on turbo oil return pipes

As title, i can't measure on my car because im in UK but it appears the other day when fitting the actuators the stupid mechanic must have messed with the rear turbo oil return pipe because it was touching the drive shaft and so it wore a hole through it and i had to contend with a major oil leak just before going to the airport today, litres of golden motorsport oil all over the floor what a waste

So i need to get some new pipe, it seemed to be quite big bore silicon, can anybody point me in the right direction.

Just make sure that whatever hose you buy is oil-rated - most standard silicone hose is not.

Yep agreed sfs. Bought some a few weeks ago. Half metre is enough.

I have ordered the pipes, SFS have sold all the tooling to "ACT Performance products" 08707 070110 ask for Tim.

The prices for the pipes are £23.76, £28.60 & £36.08 all plus vat, but you do get a 10% discount.

Is there any reason why you couldn't just use 16mm oil line pipe & buy a couple of metres then cut each to length ?

i thought the same myself Kevin, i was just afraid of buying the wrong stuff and really did not know where to source the 16mm oil pipe.

You would need 2 1 meter lengths though but still less than £40. You would get 2 sets out of 3 hoses though so even better savings

That would have been a better option, it is costing me just over £60 to get a 1m length

I received the hose today, it is much thicker walled than what is shown on that ebay picture, the wall of the hose is approx 6mm thick, i will take a pic to demonstrate the difference when i get back to Cyprus.

For the extra price they probably better quality but as the oil returns arnt under any sort of pressure and are just gravety to the sump those would be fine
