My current fleet!
Discussion
Not sure I have put a thread in here previously so here we go.
Sorry to say I don't have anything fast anymore (previous toys in profile - 267bhp redtop seven slr, and Integrale evo race car)

2" OME lift
285 75 r16 Muddies
Lightforce spotties.
GME UHF
ECB Alloy roof rack (also have a Hannibal roof tent that so far has only been used on the 90)

In the simpson desert, the year before we bought it - on a trip with us:

2001 D90 Hardtop.
Spec is massive. but will give it a go:
Front and rear lockers
Rovertracks front cv's and axles

internally and externally switched winches - hard wired
Rakeway Stage 2 solid flywheel with uprated clutch

ECU and fuse boxes moved to bulkhead behind the seats
2" lift with OME LTR dampers
GME UHF
Lightforce spotties, etc etc etc...

As well as doing a lot of hard 4wding it has also explored some of the most remote parts of Australia
Cape York:

Simpson Desert:

Those 2 together:

Next, a 1983 Stage 1 series 3 v8 which we have just restored from a half dismantled pile of parts:

And finally a 1994 hard dash classic Vogue SE:

Thats it!

Thanks all.
Yes Land Rover fan through and through. We have loads in the family.
Every single one of them gets used off road, although the Rangie is still in the UK and lives in a dehumidified garage most of the time!
The running costs of them is quite high, but when we have so many memories from the trips in them it doesnt really matter!
I think we did 20 4wding trips in the 90 in 2010.
The tray back is fairly common over here. The trays 'probably' wouldn't have been supplied by LR. They most likely would have been sold as chassis cabs and the trays built elsewhere.

Went wheeling again this weekend and took the 90 out. All went well until we were about 70km from home on the way back when the layshaft broke - wonder where to go now. Rebuild the 380, or maybe a zf auto with compushift.
Pretty annoying failure, when I only put a billet flywheel and uprated clutch in it in October and have only done 1500km since! (Thanks to a mate for the pics)

And a short video:

And a short video:

Been a while since I updated this.
The Disco is now running a set of 265 75 r16 Goodyear MTR Kevlars after a second blow out on the Federals so they have gone in the bin. The drop in size from 33" to in effect 32" has made it nicer to drive aswell.

The 90 is undergoing a few adjustments:
Front wing skins removed, and bumper ends angled up. The wings will be remade using roll cage tube and quick removable skins to limit the damage that they are suffering.

Laser cut brackets:

Modified heater box to get clearance:

And the newest toy, A masterpiece of engineering from aschroft transmissions. The underdrive. This gives me 4 ranges now, with the lowest being dropped from 3.32:1 to 8.93:!
