Bar Job interview tomorrow

As above, not really sure what to wear, thinking a suit would be overkill! Shirt and trousers? Shirt and Jeans?

Plain black shirt and black suit trousers is pretty standard for bar staff.

Shirt and trousers is fine for a job as bar staff. A suit if its for a job higher than just bar staff.

Sober suit, tie and black polished shoes every time. It may 'just' be a bar job, but who knows what may come along in the future. First impressions do count and may come in to play just when you least expect it. You'll never be embarrassed being over dressed, but you certainly can be by underdressing. Good luck!

it completely depends on the bar.

Are you talking the bar at the Savoy, or are you talking about wetherspoons in Hull?

If for a nice bar then a suit, if for a wetherspoons type place then an open neck shirt and smart trousers and polished black shoes.
