Any recommendation on who to go with for multi car insurance ?

I've an R35 GTR and a E350CDI at the moment I'm looking at ~£2K, which is about £1K more than I want to pay

Try Pace Ward. They do mine.

GT3, Range Rover Sport, Lotus Elan, Lotus Elise, A3, less than you've been quoted.
