VII Rally Clasico Isla Mallorca.
Discussion
Starts today.
I'll be out and about tomorrow and over the weekend clambering over rocks and through scrub, to get the best photo oppotunities.
Check out the web page. http://www.rallyislamallorca.com/index.aspx
Note the language tabs in the top right hand corner.
I'm particularly interested to have a good gander around this.....
I'll be back after the weekend to download some pics.
Here's my pictures from last year. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... Rally Clasico Isla Mallorca.
Hasta Luego! Mick.

The Crack Fox said:
Suspension looks knackered on that Stratos, front wheel doesn't touch the road, I'm a generous soul though, I'll take if off your hands for £500.
(Have fun !)
O/T (Have fun !)
YHM, can't respond access my private email until this evening if I find something i'll email tomorrow or saturday
Not sure I understand the post above Takes all sorts I suppose.
Anyway, back on topic. I drove through the Paseo Maritimo today, and spotted a few cars. Most had gone off to start the first stage already, and I had to get back to work. But I'll get loads over the weekend.
Here's some teasers. Sorry for the poor quality, I used my iphone. Better ones to come.
Cheers,
Mick.

As promised here are some more.
Unfourtunately I couldn't get away from work on the Friday, so I only managed the Saturday, which was very wet!
Consiquently, there where a few mishaps!
Word has it that the New Stratos started the second stage on the first day, but didn't appear at the end of it, and wasn't seen again!
Rumor has it, that it was stuffed into a wall, but I can't get confirmation. Everyone seems to be tight lipped on the subject.
Anyway, forget the all inclusive hotels, and Magaluf image. This is the real Mallorca.
Some pictures of the Tramuntana mountain range, where the closed road sections are staged. Just so you get an idea how dramatic the scenery is...
So, now you get the idea, here are a cuople of casualties.
You remember the sweet 356 I took a picture of on Thursday evening?
But he was still going for it! The start of the Sa Calobra section.
Ouch! But still giving it the beans!
This one wasn't so fortunate.
Tha car park at the bottom of Sa Calobra.
Does anyone know what this is?
Lots of 911's as usual.
Chest wig needed for this real TVR.
That's all for tonight. More to follow.
Ta ta, Mick.
