Day Insurance recommendations please ???

As per title really, does anyone have any recommendations, normal boring car, need cover by the single day only.

Have already dismissed Ecarinsurance.co.uk, can't say why due to the N&S rules but suffice it to say they are not an option.

Looking for suggestions from people who have insured with them rather than just what Google throws up.

I've always used RAC day insurance, although they're funny about cars over 20 years old
