Any kind soul do a service history check this afternoon pls

I'm looking at buying a car tonight, keen price...looks in good nic etc but he's lost the service book.

Was wondering if anyone had time to do a quick check for me and verify mileage etc?

Unfortunately i can't help you with the service history, but do an online MOT history check to see if this "lost service book" is a result of it being clocked.

I asked the same question a couple of weeks ago and the response I got was to call the customer service number (£1/min) and they will tell you what you need to know - although they cannot confirm what was done only that it visited BMW.

Would they be able to tell me if it's had it's required services...or only that it visit on a certain date/mileage?

Only when it had visited the dealer. I suppose if you wanted to know what work was done you'd then have to call the dealer in question.
